VETERAN APPLICATION

Honor Flight Kern County (HFKC) recognizes the sacrifices and achievements of
United States veterans who served overseas and stateside by flying them at no
cost to Washington D.C. to see the memorials built in honor of their service.
Top priority is given to veterans in the following order:
WWII, Korean War, Cold War, terminally ill, and Vietnam War with eligible
service dates through May 7, 1975.

Applications with service dates after May 7, 1975 will be placed on standby.
As memorials are constructed representing those more recent conflicts,
HFKC may open the flight roster as those memorials become a part of our mission.

HFKC adhere to the rules of national Honor Flight Network. Guardians fly with
veterans on every flight, providing assistance and helping veterans to have a safe,
memorable, and rewarding experience.
